A Little About Me
A little about me…
I know what it’s like to face challenges that feel overwhelming, the kind that make everyday life harder than it should be. That’s a big part of why I became a counsellor.
Over the years, I’ve learned just how powerful it can be to have someone really listen; not to fix things, but to understand them with you. That’s the space I aim to create at MH Counselling, one that’s calm, supportive, and honest.
My goal isn’t to give you all the answers it’s to help you find your own, at your pace, in your way. Whether you’re feeling stuck, lost, burnt out, or feeling the need to offload, you’re not alone.
Helping people reconnect with themselves, gain clarity, and feel more in control of their lives is something I genuinely care about. It’s why I do what I do.
A Defining Moment in My Journey...
It all started with me wanting to get a handle on those tricky emotions. During my counselling training, something just clicked in personal therapy and honestly, it changed my life.
What really stuck with me was how powerful it is to feel truly listened to, especially in a world that moves so fast.
Having a space where I felt understood was a game-changer. It gave me the freedom to explore my thoughts and feelings at my own pace, with no pressure, no judgment, just genuine support. And that’s exactly the kind of space I now offer to others.
I’m all about helping people feel empowered. Deep down, I believe we all have a sense of what’s right for us, sometimes we just need a bit of help uncovering it.
Adding to my experience of delivering Therapy within the NHS, I continue to deliver specialist support in many areas including Domestic Abuse, supporting individuals in understanding Neurodivergence, Understanding and working through Grief as well as Counselling and Mentoring with both Adults and Young People.
Over the years I’ve taken part in a wide range of professional development opportunities to deepen my knowledge. Paired with my own lived experiences and a real understanding that we’re all human and learning as we go, I’m able to offer support that comes from both the heart and a place of genuine understanding.
As a BACP-Registered Counsellor, I’ve supported many people through all sorts of life challenges. Whatever you are facing here you will find a safe space to talk things through, I’m here when you're ready.
I'm here to support you so you don’t have to face tough times alone.
And if no one’s told you lately — this is your reminder that you truly matter.
